To resolve any crashes or issues the XRAI Glass® app, follow these steps:
iOS:
- Open your phone settings.
- Search for 'XRAI Glass' and select it.
- Review the permissions to ensure that the microphone has been enabled.
- If it is enabled, skip to Step 7.
- Quit the XRAI Glass® app by swiping up to close it.
- Reopen the XRAI Glass® app.
- If you are still experiencing difficulties starting a session, go to Settings and click the Vitals icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and click on Hard Reset.
- Sign in to your account and accept the prompt allowing XRAI Glass® to access your microphone.
- Select your Spoken Language and Subtitle Language of choice.
- Choose the region closest to your current location.
- Click Get Started and then press Subtitles to return to the transcription home page and start a new session. It should now be able to start transcribing without any app interruptions.
Android:
- Open your phone settings.
- Search for 'XRAI Glass' and select it.
- Go to Permissions and ensure that the Microphone has been granted access.
- If it is enabled, skip to Step 7.
- Force quit the XRAI Glass® app by swiping up to close it.
- Reopen the XRAI Glass® app.
- If you are still experiencing difficulties starting a session, go to Settings and click the Vitals icon in the top right corner.
- Scroll down and click on Hard Reset.
- Sign in to your account and accept the prompt allowing XRAI Glass® to access your microphone.
- Select your spoken language and subtitle language of choice.
- Choose the region closest to your current location.
- Grant permission to audio recording and device discovery.
- Click Get Started and then press Subtitles to return to the transcription home page and start a new session. It should now be able to start transcribing without any app interruptions.
