Use the AR controls in XRAI Glass

If you have a compatible set of glasses, you have access to additional customization of your subtitles whilst wearing them. 

  1. To begin, either start the specific version of the app for your glasses, or pair to them, as appropriate. Once the app has loaded, if required, login and select AR Subtitles:

     
  2. Once you are at the conversation screen, press the + button to begin subtitles and the ⏹️ button to end:

     
  3. To change the way the text is displayed, tap the quick settings box in the bottom right. From here you can control:

    1️⃣ The size of the font in the AR glasses
    2️⃣ The distance away from you the subtitles appears
    3️⃣ The amount of space from the top of the glasses which is made transparent so subtitles don't appear within it
    4️⃣ The gap between the bottom of the AR glasses and where the subtitles appear
    5️⃣ The width of the space the subtitles appear in, within the AR glasses

  5. For further control of where the subtitles are placed, you can control settings in using the controls on the side of the screen.

    1️⃣ Alignment of the text to the top or the bottom of the field of view within the AR glasses:

     

    2️⃣ To pin (lock the position of) the subtitles you can toggle the pin icon.
    When the pin is outlined like this: , the subtitles will stay locked. 
    When the pin is shaded like this:  , the subtitles will follow your head around.

     

    3️⃣ Whilst the subtitles are pinned in position, you can press the recenter button to recenter them in the center of where you are currently looking:

      

    4️⃣ To hide what is on your phone screen whilst you are transcribing (to avoid accidentally pressing anything, press this icon:
